7 distinct spaces to create, collaborate, and innovate
Maker’s Space
The heart of the HUB, the Maker’s Space offers state-of-the-art equipment, including dozens of 3D printers, a laser cutter, vinyl cutters, sewing machines, soldering stations, and more. In this space users can prototype their latest business idea, bring classroom ideas to life, create shirts for their intramural team, or make a Christmas present for Mom. They can learn new skills for both personal enrichment and career enhancement.
Entrepreneurship Studios
With two entrepreneurship spaces, students will have the opportunity to turn their business ideas into realities. The smaller space, the Idea Incubator, offers space to brainstorm ideas. The larger studio provides entrepreneurs a storefront and mentorship opportunities, so students can take their businesses to the next level.
Innovation Gallery
Explore the completed and ongoing projects of Union students, alumni and faculty. Surrounded by innovation, students can brainstorm and collaborate on their own latest projects.
Workshop
The workshop contains large, open space where students can work on big builds, such as the SAE Baja vehicle. With machines and tools for metal and woodworking, this is a space for heavy-duty projects.
Business Analytics Center
A 32-seat computer lab, including a Bloomberg terminal, puts technology at students’ fingertips as they work on projects, research or attend lectures or seminars.
