The Hub’s Grand Opening Celebration

Cupcakes celebrating the grand opening of The Hub

On Monday, August 25, we gathered to celebrate the official opening of The Hub. Although the space has been active since the opening of The Ethos Forum in March, this was the first time we paused to dedicate and celebrate The Hub together.

The afternoon began at 4:00 p.m. with a prayer and dedication service, followed by the ribbon cutting and a time of fellowship with cupcakes. Attendees and social media followers also enjoyed specialty Hub-made giveaways that were created with the new equipment in our new spaces, such as a laser-engraved Owala bottle, a giant FlexiBuster, a sublimated pickleball paddle, and more. All attendees received 3D-printed FlexiBusters and vinyl stickers.

In the evening, the celebration continued with a banquet honoring donors, planners, and workers who made The Hub a reality. Dr. Pingen shared updates on The Hub’s early impact, highlighting major milestones such as our winning Make:able team and the launch of our inaugural SAE Baja team.

We are excited to see all that God has in store through these innovative spaces and the students, faculty, and community members who will bring them to life.
