Bark tank 2026

Creativity and entrepreneurship took center stage on Friday, October 2, as Union University students presented their innovative ideas at Bark Tank 2026, the culminating event of Innovation Week.

This year's competition featured two exciting tracks. In the Bring Your Own Idea track, students developed and pitched their own entrepreneurial concepts, identifying problems and proposing creative solutions. In the Yukon Outfitters Innovation Challenge, students tackled a real-world design challenge presented by industry partner Yukon Outfitters, applying design thinking to develop innovative ideas.

Throughout Innovation Week, students had opportunities to refine their concepts, receive feedback, and prepare their pitches. On Friday, they stepped into the spotlight to present their ideas to a panel of judges. Dr. Ted Kluck served as emcee.
