MGT498
Tuesdays 3:05 - 4:20
MGT 498 introduces students to design thinking as a practical method for purposeful innovation. The course is open to students from all majors and helps students identify meaningful problems, gather feedback, generate ideas, and develop concepts or prototypes that respond to real campus or community needs. No prior business experience or existing venture idea is required. Students who already have an idea may use the course to refine, test, and strengthen it.
Rooted in Ephesians 2:10, which reminds us that we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, this course frames innovation as purposeful, faithful, and others-oriented work. Students will consider how creativity, stewardship, empathy, ethical judgment, and service can shape solutions that contribute to human flourishing and reflect God's creative purpose in the world.
