Create your own design
All 3D printable designs start with CAD (computer-aided design) software. There are many different CAD softwares that you can use, but the three below are great options.

Tinkercad
If you are new to 3D design and want an easy-to-use, quick-to-learn CAD program, Tinkercad is what you need.

Onshape
If you want a powerful CAD program that is free for students and completely online, try Onshape.

Autodesk Fusion
If you need advanced features, like generative design and simulation tools, try Fusion.
Find a design that someone else created
You don’t always have to create projects from scratch, though. Many people have already created 3D designs that you can find on the Internet, download and print. Some of them require you to pay a fee in order to download the file, but many of them are free.

A well-maintained website with a lot of printable possibilities. It can even download the file directly into PrusaSlicer.

Thingiverse
This is the largest and most well-known website for finding files to 3D print. Just be sure to read the comments and summaries to make sure the file is what you expect.

This is one more popular option for finding 3D printable files, best known for its more advanced search capabilities.
